Hitting the target and Fun Games Sessions

It's late in the season and the sun is (finally) shining, so what better time than now to reward your players some fun (but functional) sessions? This week we're working on movement, passing and shooting skills Read on to learn more!

Conditioned Games Session

You can never be sure how many players are going to arrive to training so you should always have a plan B - enter this week's Sportplan Session!

Designed for teams large and small, with small-sided games, half-pitch games and full-pitch games, this session works on basic game principles including Passing, Movement and Possession through conditioned play!

So whilst your players are having fun they'll also be improving how they gel as a team, working hard for one another, communicating and practising their match game skills!

Shooting Practice - Hitting the target!

The second of this week's sessions is another treat for your players as we allow them to take aim and fire in this shooting session - working on accuracy, speed and ability to shoot (on target) under pressure!

Players are always dying to have a few shots on goal, as you've probably noticed at the start and finish of every training session, but as much as this might be fun for your players it's not always beneficial to their shooting game.

This session aims to give a bit of structure to players' shooting, getting them to focus on hitting the target and making the keeper work with every shot, resisting the temptation to simply hit the ball as hard as they can!
